Gene Flow and Agriculture: Relevance for Transgenic Crops

This symposium brought together the two areas of gene flow and the development of genetically modified crops. The research effort in Europe and North America devoted to studying the risks associated with the culture of transgenic crops, much of it related to gene flow was reviewed, as was the practical production of commercial scale genetically modified crops and the likely consequences to farming and the environment.
